JMP wins £30,500 for child dog bite victim
A four year old girl suffered severe facial lacerations when she was attacked by her new family pet just hours after the animal was collected from a rescue centre. The one year old Alsatian cross attacked the girl whilst she played in her front room. The girl has been left with permanent facial scarring.
Ian Howard, Solicitor, of JMP commented “We are delighted that our client has been awarded compensation for what was a savage and unprovoked attack by a dangerous animal bought as a pet. It is only by chance that our client did not sustain more serious injuries and her scarring could have been far worse had it not been for treatment by a skilled plastic surgeon” |
